Not all roofs around here are as old as the ones on these photos, but I like these very old weathered roofs and the ceramic details.

the sunrise has this golden light, some days a pink one and few days plain black and white.

Last week in Fuengirola, Costa del Sol.
It was good :)

We don´t do dinners very much. Usually we have a hot meal in the middle of the day and then something very light at night.
Today, it is rather windy and chilly so the menu was a warming curried sweet potato soup that I had in the freezer. It tastes really nice and the recipe is here.
We also had dessert today, which we do not have that often, but as I had just made earl grey and poppy seed muffins, they had to be tasted too. I found the recipe for the muffins here via My Castle in Spain
Today’s corner view theme is about family dinners. For more start at Francesca’s FuoriBorgo.

Until recently I thought that Instagram was for Iphone photography only. It’s not and it is actually quite fun. Here are some random shots from the last few days. More shots here.
Hope you are enjoying your Sunday.
Have a great weekend.
Don´t they look cute?
I havn’t tried making them yet. If you want to give it a try, click on the image or go to Savoring Time in the Kitchen to get the instructions. I found them via My Owl Barn.
The Corner View this week is about eggs. More about them starting at Francesca’s FuoriBorgo.

Very dark and late Friday Night in my town, Álora.

Ok, cooking is kind of work and you are not supposed to play with your food, but taking photos is sometimes ok. These photos are of an artichoke tarte in progress.
I found the recipe on this site. The original one is with a polenta crust and as I thought it would be kind of too heavy I made a whole wheat flour crust and I also used fresh artichokes, which are in season now, instead of canned or frozen ones. It was really good and I think I will try it with the polenta crust next time.
The topic of this week’s corner view is work and play and you can find more starting at Francesca’s FuoriBorgo.
