Last night we drove about 100 km to the caves of Nerja to listen to Salzburg Soloists String Quartet which was the first event in the annual Music and Dance festival of the caves. It was really worth the drive. Both the music and the caves.
The cornerview theme this week is the above question … and no, I am not an artist, but below is a photo of one, a local singer Miguel Vergara “El Pibri” from when he was performing at a local show a few weeks ago in favor of the victims of the flood.
It was a really good and entertaining show with songs from the 70s and 80s, that is, songs that were popular in Spain at that time. Not many were the same as we listened to in Denmark at that time.

If you press play above you will hear and see City Awakes. The music, mainly instrumental, is by Savage Rose for the ballet “Dødens triumf” (The Triumph of Death) by Flemming Flindt back in 1972.
It is total nostalgia as this is one of the earliest pieces of music I remember and really liked. And I still like it :)
